Looks like a rehearsal. In Tyrol they probably only like beerfest music and brass concerts.

Ian Gillan understood he must not force his voice to reach the acute notes? It's best to listen. It's no more hard rock but "calm rock" 😊. Very good film. Thanks. 🙏

Steve Morse was the wrong fit for this band. They are completely re-energized by the addition of Simon McBride as their new guitarist.
@letterli2 күн бұрын
My opinion: Morse was toooo overbended, overdriven for this kind of sound - was his style. Simon McBride is brilly-lilly - TOP!!

God Almighty! Old men with grey hair and beer bellies playing 50 year-old teenage songs while shaking their sorry asses. Rock music is absolutely pitiful these days.

Ian Gillan's lost his "screaming"vocal chords , just like Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull is searching for his ... Let it be... the bands are great, but yeah.. I have an enormous sympathy for those bands, really. Let someone else sing the heavy parts then...

Gillian is a legend as is Deep Purple, his vocals will go down like Rob Halford’s, but the new audience is not hearing the same guy as I grew up to ( I am 69) , obviously it is not for the money, time to enjoy life with family and friends . You deserve it my friend. Peace and Love and thanks for all the great tunes like the LP “In Rock” “Machine Head” “Fireball” “Made in Japan “etc etc, I still play those on my Turntable and they still sound as good as when I heard them in my teens.
@gregorylapointe41573 күн бұрын
I would recommend listening to the Made In Japan album to anyone who hasn't heard it. You can truly appreciate Ian's strong voice and fantastic playing by the rest of the band. One of the best live albums ever in my opinion..

Ooooh bitchy , if you like this style of music there isn't anyone doing it much anymore, so fair play to Steve for doing it

DP are rocking! 1970s through to 2024!! That vibrancy and energy is there regardless of age. Simon adds his own flavour to the rock classics and is contributing to creating new rock classics!!!

Wow, amazing! Can't wait for it to be released on DVD. From today's perspective, I would say that when Steve left Genesis, he took Genesis with him. The other three kept the name, but in reality they quickly mutated into the Phil Collins Pop Band. The only one who keeps the spirit of the old Genesis alive to this day is Steve.

He still sounds good on the new material, it’s not a shame to drop the classics a couple of tones so he’d be actually able to rich it and it’ll still sound good. Highway Star instead of G key simply E
