Hi, really enjoyed your road trip on the Riveria. We are looking to do a similar trip, so wondered which company did you rent your car from? Good experience? thanks in advance.

Hi Neil glad you enjoyed the video 🤙🏽 We hired a car from Avis in Kuşadası then dropped it back at the airport in Antalya. All the major car hire companies are there so you can shop around for the best deal. Just be aware if you don't return it back to the same place you hired it from the will be an extra oneway fee on top of your rental.

A couple of mistakes, queen victoria never came to india. Victoria terminus was constructed to commemorate her golden jubilee. The head of statue never broke but the whole statue was removed along with many british statues from the streets of mumbai during the early 60s after violent protests from the natives. There is a video in official british pathe website from the era. No one is aware of the whereabouts of the statue. Some say it was sold in black market for a handsome amount. Also sachin tendulkar started playing at shivaji park not oval maidan
@FairDinkumAdventure
@FairDinkumAdventure 16 күн бұрын
Thanks for making the effort to correct some of the information🙂 As regards Queen Victoria statue at CSMT all information we gave in the video is from the official tour of the building. Information they give is politically correct as they don't want to say that the Indian government ordered to take down all British Statues and that some politicians back then sold them off, even though the history books say otherwise. Also, yes Sachin did start playing cricket at Shivaji Park first before he played any other ground. However, he said in many of his interviews that "Shivaji Park, Azad, Oval Maiden and Cross Maidans all played integral part of his development in his early years" before he become the most successful Indian cricketer ever.

@@FairDinkumAdventure The tour operator is either lying or not aware. During the british era there used to be statues of english nobleman, royal family members all across south of the city till gateway. During the mid 60s some statues were vandalized by radical elements. To safeguard the rest, all statues were relocated to the nearby museum. It’s still there. You can google british bombay statues or visit british pathe website where they even have a video from the 60s. Thanks for the good work

Hi, I'm planning to visit Istanbul and Ephesus with my family during the month of May from 24th to 30th May. Could you please guide if it's warm weather during May and can we wear T-shirts and shorts in May? I heard in July and August it's too hot and in May it's cold. Which month would you recommend to visit? Thanks
@FairDinkumAdventure
@FairDinkumAdventure Ай бұрын
Hi 🤗 In late May, the average daily temperature in Ephesus area ranges from 16°C (61°F) to 24°C (75°F). The weather is usually comfortable throughout the day, especially in the afternoon. May is a good time to visit because of its balmy temperatures, sunshine, and quieter in tourists. It's also one of the driest months. Hope you have a great time 🙏🏼😊

@FairDinkumAdventure Thanks. Which month have you visited? And how was the weather that time? The reason I'm asking is because my child get school holidays for 1 week in end of May and then he will get summer holiday's from 18th July till end of August. I don't mind going in July but I heard people are saying that in July we can't even step outside during the day time and afternoon. People saying it's just like middle east temperature.

@FairDinkumAdventure Thanks. Which month did you visited and how was the weather that time? The problem is that my child will get holidays in May for 1 week and then summer holidays from 18th July till end of August. We heard in May we still need to wear jackets and then in July and August it's going to be too hot. So I'm very confused which Month should we travel... We would love to visit in Summer but not the boiling summer like middle east.

Hi, yeah we visited in August and was very hot and busy with hundreds of busloads of tourists. If we went again during the peak summer month, I would be getting there early in the morning when it first opens. Less people and much more pleasant weather. But who can predict the weather these days!
