My Dad and I were FREAKING out when we saw the GREEN lightsaber come on the screen. And then when the camera showed his GLOVED hand, and when Moff Gideon was scared, we’re like, “YEP, THAT HAS to be LUKE SKYWALKER!” When they showed his face, my mouth was DROPPED to the floor. When Mando asked if he was a Jedi, I said, “HE’S THE Jedi!” When Moff Gideon was scared, my Dad and I BOTH said, “Ohhh, he’s scared NOW!”

You Kingdom Hearts fans finally won this time and got your wish! Sorry if the comment is late. I never actually played Kingdom Hearts but I’ve heard about it. But I never wanted to think that a Disney character would actually make it in Smash. It’s so unbelievable that Sakurai and Disney did the impossible. I respect this trailer for how hype it really is! This finale is respectable in my book! And Sora is actually pretty good in Smash.

I think the people who didn't catch the hints along the way have never seen " The Return of the Jedi ". Lukes red x-wing; his black robe and outfit; his belt; the green lightsaber he made; his black glove his right robotic hand. I've never watched this tv series or watched " Star Wars " in a long time but remembered all of what the hints were.

I never get people's train of thought who see an X-WING, a BLACK Jedi robe, a GLOVED HAND and a GREEN SABER, and go "Oh it's gotta be Ahsoka or Ezra" or "Who could this be? There's absolutely no clue as to their identity". I know people were in denial that the series would actually do this, but c'mon people. The clothes alone should have been all the confirmation you needed, as they are the exact same as in RotJ.

I love the detail that Moff Gideon is scared. Because all he sees is a small black and white screen of a hooded figure that just came out of an X-Wing using a lightsaber and making easy work of his Darktroopers. He knows EXACTLY who tf this is. Hero of the Republic, Defeater of Darth Vader and the Emperor. He knows that Luke Fucking Skywalker just showed up. And he has every reason to be terrified of the man who (not singlehandedly, but still) defeated the Empire that he so desperately wants to bring back or have some control over. He knows he doesn't stand a chance now. Hell, he even tries to kill himself shortly after Luke shows up. That is Luke's reputation. Not some depressed hermit.

I may be young. I'm 23 rn as of 2024. I've only been watching Star Wars since I was 10, so roughly 2010-ish. But I cried like a bitch when Luke showed up. Because this was the first time in MY lifetime that Luke Skywalker(the REAL Luke. Not the sequels bullshit) showed up on screen in a new Star Wars project. The last time he showed up on screen was 1983. I wasn't alive yet until 2001. This waz my first time seeing Luke on screen in a tv show/movie that wasn't something I was watching thst was 30 years old, it was actively airing. I cried and cried. Because Luke has always been my hero(same with Spider-Man).

I've care not for anything Star Wars past the sequel trilogy. Have watched nothing but clips of peeps shitting (deservedly so) on what Disney SW has done to this franchise. Seeing this is honestly heartbreaking. KK really pulled what Sephiroth proposed to Cloud: "What is it that cherish the most? So I can take it from you"
