I love these plants, I had one and killed it, I think I over watered it, but I will get another one. Thank you so much for the tips 🪴

Such unique succulents, may I ask what nursery you get them at?
@Sarahleanned29 күн бұрын
Usually when I buy plants I get them from Rojas succulents in fallbrook.

@@Sarahleanned Ok, I live fairly close to Fallbrook, thank you

@@peppercat8718 when you do go, also the son Carlos had a separate greenhouse there with more specialty succulents. Make sure you check those out too.

I don’t know exactly but I’d say about 3ish years. It’s the first time it’s boomed and we got a lot of rain over the 2022-23 rainy season.

Finding your video today on splitting ponytail palms was perfect timing & I'm thankful! About ten years ago, I purchased THREE ponytail palms in a 6" deep rectangular bowl. I treated them as I did my other plants. They grew LONG fronds (6') & have remained healthy. However, one has started to tilt & to grow away from the two planted together on the other side of the dish. I'm sure they now need to be replanted into a new home with the one in a planter of its own. Thanks for sharing your experience & demonstration of splitting them. It has motivated me with some confidence in my newly learned 'technique'. 🙋♀️

Hello, I like your garden very much. I also like succulents, but they slowly die after a period of time. I can't find the reason. Is it because of the climate in Missouri?
@Sarahleanned7 ай бұрын
Thanks Tiffany. I know Missouri can be quite humid so I’m sure that plays a factor. You also get quite cold too right? I’m in San Diego where we have a Mediterranean Climate. We have dry weather and rarely is below freezing.

Hi there. The the back yard, where the huge bloom happened is in full sun from about 12 noon forward. It is west facing. The front yard where my large jade and succulent installation is west facing and gets morning sun as well as afternoon sun until about 1-2 PM. I Don’t have anything planted on the north or south side of the house to speak of.
