I sat outside this venue all day with a small group of fans so we could get up close that night. We took turns going down the street to eat/drink/use the restroom at the bar nearby and got to know each other over the course of the afternoon. We all became fast friends, in particular this girl who bussed in from out of state for the night to see the show. When doors opened we got in first, and I ended up on the steps of the stage right at Damien's feet. The show itself was magical (I still recall him standing on the chair with no PA for the last song). Afterwards I went for a walk around the city with that girl before she had to catch her bus back to her college out of state. She moved out west and we lost touch, but every once in a while I think of her and smile. It was one of the most beautiful days of my life.

I miss you Aoibheann, thankfully her voice reminds me of yours
