I can tell you from experience that the pressure left in the tank is way less fun when it’s a tank for a glycol floor heating system and not water 😂😂

I have heard a neodymium magnet could pull the mechanism open but the magnets I have aren’t strong enough. 👍
@steveclark..7 күн бұрын
Yep, a strong magnet should move them balls/compress the spring.

Much easier to just grab a pair of slim shears and cut through the pin in half a sec. Or do what I used to do - get wire clippers, and just clip off the sides of the pin head.

pro tip, put a hot pan under the hot water right after you are done cooking, most of that will wash fine, you are pretty much deglazing your pan.
@terryclayton9 күн бұрын
I actually stopped putting hot pans under water because the heat shock will warp the bottom. I do agree with you on never using abrasive on a teflon or ceramic coated pan. My stainless pans have no coating. Cheers T

BRAVO!! The best tutorial I could find on KZbin for cleaning an under counter Euhomy ice maker! And believe me, I had to look at a bunch of them before I actually found yours. Hopefully you'll get more likes and shares which will increase your visibility. As I said, it was really hard to find your video because there's not any other good ones out there for this specific machine. Maybe you could add some more words to your description or hashtags to get it out there more. But either way, thank you so much. The directions that come with the ice maker are really hard to understand and I am short of time but you have made my day. Thank you, Terry!

Mr. Clayton, why the Dimethicone + Sulfuric acid and Methanol + IPA can't mix perfectly? at the bottom there is oil sediment of Dimethicone + Sulfuric acid, I hope Mr. Clayton replies to my comment, I'm so frustrated😢😢
@terryclayton17 күн бұрын
Sounds like the dimethicone and sulfuric were not mixed long enough before adding solvents. Be sure to use concentrated sulfuric acid an let it mix at least 20 minutes.

It’s supposed to have 8 qts with the filter.
@terryclayton22 күн бұрын
The story of 8.5 to 8 is an interesting one. Some say it was a mistake by engineers, others say it was because the dipstick was made with inaccurate markings. I am sticking with 8.5 mainly because it will not harm anything and the Tahoe tends to burn a little oil as it ages. 👍
@slalomking22 күн бұрын
@ ok, our 2019 is at the full mark with 8 qts. I bought it used and in two 5000 mile changes it hasn’t used any oil, so I’m pleased about that.

I did this before I watched this video on a 50 light string. It works great but there is a faster way. Once the hot lead is located as you did, start in the middle of the string. If you detect voltage, the first 25 bulbs are good and you have saved testing 25 individual bulbs. Now test the middle of the remaining 25 bulbs. If the light lights, you know the bad bulb is in the last 12 bulbs and you have saved time by not having to test every single bulb. Using this method you can locate the bad bulb much faster.

Easy on a single strand that’s not wrapped around a 6 ft Christmas tree or up on a wreath on your house. We have a 6 ft tall pre-lit topiary, and very hard to trace the wires.

After screwing around finding the dead bulb(s)…….replacing them only to have more bulbs burn out in the mean time…….I found a great fix…….throw them out and buy new ones …….the time and money ,aggravation ..spent on outrageously price tiny packages of replacement bulbs…..is well worth it ….Merry Christmas…..

Easier way ...1) buy a parallel string of lights (not a series string of lights) 2) replace any bulb that's not lit. ----------------------+---------------------------+----------------------+---------------------------+ test before you buy -- in the store:: plug B B B B this is a parallel string of lights. it you remove one bulb, the rest stay lit. ----------------------+---------------------------+----------------------+---------------------------+ spend the extra couple of bucks, to reduce YEARS of annoyance.

If you had the oil filter hand tight and then went another 3/4 turn. . . . that would be too tight. Hand tight is tight enough. If you have changed your oil again since you made this video, you already know that.

We have one of these at work and the ice keeps melting and the ice bin is completely water after about 1 week of use. What can we do to prevent?
@terryclaytonАй бұрын
If your bin is full of water then your drain is likely plugged. The ice bin is not refrigerated so it is normal for ice to slowly melt. I leave mine on so it's always full of ice.
