After the first few times of running around and seeing with Drif does, the logical thing to do is switch to a different Pokemon before your next encounter. The switching during Battle automatically removes 1 round of being able to do anything, which in turn speeds up the chances of Momento. This should be something to heavily consider from now on. You even talked about it and instead chose to ignore your own advice. None of your Pokemon were in danger, and this is early enough where your Starter doesn't necessarily have to be the one you throw to the front lines every time.

If you've been playing Pokemon and that's something you enjoy playing, why not add some of that to the Channel? Pokemon playthroughs, maybe some packs or content explaining your favorite Pokemon. (Either from a looks, moves, and or game play perspective. Potentially even broken down into Generations if you want to stretch things out.) The more passionate you are about something, the more than love/interest/passion/enjoyment shines through. There's also a popular Pokemon Roguelike called PokeRogue. If you haven't tried or checked out that game, you might want to. The main thing is doing what is fun for you while also being entertaining to others. It's a hard balancing act and it's tough to simply "turn on" the entertainer aspect while not coming off as something you're not. Inconsistencies in regards to uploads including long stretches of nothing or a Vlog video and nothing else loses Viewership, Subs, and the key thing in all of this, the KZbin Algorithms. Increased engagement in the Comment Section is another huge boost. Yet for some reason your Content seems to not get people wanting to talk. Maybe it's a disconnect of interest and or entertainment where what's fun for you doesn't necessarily get conveyed or comes off as less entertaining for the Viewer. I know too often your emotions would get the best of you and a video/Series would become less than what it could have due to your heart not being in it or coming off to others as just another negative Content Creator. When you have a niche and then the aforementioned niche is removed or shifted to other subjects/Content, there's going to be a drop off. The reason the people were coming originally is no longer there. You're now trying to gain a new type of audience which is almost like starting over again. The more the shifts and changes, the less and less retention. Lose the old, gain some new. It's tough man. KZbin being KZbin and their constant increases in AI/Bot uses has made it that much harder for smaller Content Creators because the algorithms typically will push those types further down the List, giving bigger Creators an additional edge. I know you know most if not all of what I'm saying, but I feel it's still needed to be brought up.

Why master duel is the worst thing ever..??
@TwilightAzureGaming2 ай бұрын
It is slow, poor matchmaking systems, extremely bad pack designs, game straight up lies about pack upgrades, boring formats, and compared to any fan made duel simulator that is out now, Master Duel is inferior.
@lightningwaitforitakash2 ай бұрын
@@TwilightAzureGaming fair, but it still doesn't make it the worst thing ever. It is really really free to play friendly, it is very accessible for people like me who doesn't really have a local scene and the only way I can enjoy yu gi oh daily is playing master duel, i can play it on my ipad or phone so i can play it while i am traveling to work or coming back from it, it has a different format so it at least gives a different experience than paper. I can go on but I just want to say I am not saying it's a perfect game, it's far from it. But definitely it's not the worst thing ever. It has at least a few things going for it.

I wish I was born earlier to play many things from that start, Yugioh being one of them, I know legacy formats are a thing and I'm actively trying to play them but its not the as growing up with it as it came out set by set. And boy, if you think Yugioh local groups are sparce nowdays, try living in New Zealand while wanting to get into the game in that way.
@TwilightAzureGaming2 ай бұрын
Yeah, missing out on certain eras of Yugioh, you do get a sense of regret. I remember regretting missing XYZ Era, although not Pends. Yeah I can imagine it being tough to find a local group in a place like New Zealand, the tough thing about here, is that it is the heart and founding place for MTG, their biggest rival for most of their existence

@@Cybertech134 Honestly, I love the game through various periods, I enjoy replaying some XYZ formats, Synchro era is always awesome, and the start of Links and up until 2023/2024 was pretty good too. @TemporalDelusion2 ай бұрын
Feel this a lot, down to the duel master thing. I honestly believe in the modern day, it would be far superior to what yugioh has become. People are still playing here, but it's dwindling at best, and as a result, most people that play are quite competitive, the hardcore stuck with it. For me two things are making me reconsider after returning for the past 3 years or so. Price and time. The cost of the game is insane, playsets of 20€ cards that you need many of. 40€+ staples that you need multiples of. 100€ little knight soft mandatory. Time is the worst. With a full time job, learning the CONSTANT FLOW of powerful cards coming in and out, the dozen or so random rogueish decks etc. I only get to play 4 times a month if I get to go each Sunday, that's the max. amount of locals I can visit. Really makes one think if the upkeep cost in terms of TIME & MONEY is even worth it. By the time I played a couple weeks a new sets out already, new stuff to spend money on, now cards to learn etc. Hell even the judges can't figure out effect interactions sometimes, how much more time would I need to "learn the game" over and over again? Time wizard is obviously non-existent... I sort of went all out, spent an insane amount of money so I had access to variety at the time I started paper play 6 or so months ago. I'll force myself to stick with the game and make the call myself after about another year. That should be enough to "get it out of my system" and put this glorious part of my childhood/young adulthood to rest. Sorry for the long rant, I'll stop it here. Played since the start, but it never felt this bad honestly... Ironic how now I look back at the meta that made me hard quit for quite a bit fondly. (Shadolls came out :) )
@TwilightAzureGaming2 ай бұрын
Honestly, everything here is valid. I can say I am lucky enough to have some older format/Time Wizard stores here. The fact, I see stores that stock MTG/Pokemon/Digimon/One Piece/Etc all believe Yugioh is too risky or not profitable and not worth it to even try indicates something. The price is insane, I am hoping the TCG realizes things are changing and adapts, I also believe the thing that would help the game the most is a massive rebalance era. Errata overpowered cards, do not introduce generic over powered cards, make sure archetypes slowly get some sort of power while checking the really broken ones. It would take a lot of work but Yugioh would be in a better place.
@jacal51792 ай бұрын
It's a bummer that there is no local community, but that is something largely out of your control so I understand your perspective. It might be worth trying out some other TCGs, as you mentioned those stores in your area support Pokemon/Magic and I'm sure those communities would be happy to have you.
@TwilightAzureGaming2 ай бұрын
Yeah, the toughest part is remembering when this area did have a good supported Yugioh community. It made me love for the game strong, but it also hurts to see it so dead. Honestly, I already play Digimon, and I might debate about Pokemon, the TCG for it isnt as fun as the Pokemon Games in my opinion. I will never return to MTG, that community has burned me too much. lol
@TangoMichealXD2 ай бұрын
I've just quit yugioh recently myself, the only nearest locals for me is an hour away and over there its just so sweaty and the community there has become toxic so I ain't about that life. Even retro formats have become unfun over there and I love retro formats.
