When I select a different country and enter my name my phone makes me put a card on file and it won't accept my US cards. You selected NONE when it asked for a card but I don't have that option. Is there a work around with that part?

This worked! I set my app store to Canada with whatever address as guy showed in video, then I tuned on a VPN to set my location to Canada (I used ExpressVPN, free trial). Went to the app store and was able to download a bundle of CapCut with some other Byte app (because CapCut by itself was not downloading for me). Once I signed in, all of my CapCut Projects were there and I have been able to use CapCut without the VPN and having changed my app store back to USA. Sharing these details to help others, so grateful I managed to restore mine!! no other phone based editor app comes to CapCuts ease of use and convenient features. Hope its back and here to stay :-)
