Thank you for this gem. The exciting and tasteful playing of Dolo Cocker can be heard also in his other major published collaboration with Art Pepper, 'Intensity'.

One of the very best jazz guitarists ever... Cal Collins played in a fantastic way, rithmically, melodicaly and harmonicaly... Thank you so much for uploading this... I had this recording in a cassette during the early 90's, in my city of Quito, Ecuador... The cassette with these songs just got recorded by a few musicians and music lovers... Nobody knew who he was. An enigma. It took the arrival of the internet to learn about the great Cal Collins, a self taught guitar player who also happened to be a light aircraft pilot instructor .. ONE OF THE FINEST in my opinion 🎸🎶🎶🎶💃🏻🕺🏻🍷🍷♑♋💞♾️

Great album, I play the alto sax and players like Sonny Criss are my masters. I add: the guitar solo in willow weep for me by the legend Tal Farlow is great

This album is a live recording of Bill Evans at the Montreux jazz Festival in Switzerland in 1968, which gained popularity as "Evans in the Castle." The castle is Chateau de Chillon, which stands on the shores of Lac Leman (E : Lake Geneva) in Switzerland.
