Singing those notes as you did may be the most helpful tip. Connects your ear to your voice, your eyes, and your fingers! Thanks for posting

I just watched Bob Dylan’s film, complete unknown, I don’t think I had a dry eye through the film, in the late 60s I used to sit in my sisters room listening to Bob on her vinyls woooow how it made an impression on my life 🇬🇧🙌❤️

Octaves are your friend, good quick note finding lesson. I never thought of it this way. Many years ago I learned all the notes on fifth and sixth strings which gave me the first string notes as well. This is actually easier than that was. Ty Jimmy, I like your videos even after 30 years of playing I learn something and it’s awesome!
@JimmyDillon10 сағат бұрын
Glad you're still learning after all these years!

Cords ok but far from the actual one Dylan plays
@JimmyDillon8 сағат бұрын
We strive to make it easy for players rather than trying to recreate the exact versions that are much harder for people to play.

Bravo. Love this progression. I am using various pedals to go back to my original roots on progressive rock. Do you have a favorite pedal? Thank you for these amazing videos!

Probably a simple volume pedal would be my favorite.

I don't know who the little girl at the end is but she's cute as a bug. Reminds me of my granddaughter. Great advice Jimmy. Thanks. I do vocal warmups and guitar warmups for the same reason sports athletes warm up before a game. To get loose and get in the groove.

I have a number of your lessons and CD's, Jimmy. You even wrote me personally from Hawaii several times. I learn so much every time I open a lesson. Little light bulbs go off and I reach for a guitar! From a former fellow Hawaiian now living in Mexico, Mahalo and Aloha!
