Hi Massimo. Nice comparison. Have you compared the Photos of the S24 Ultra with the Pixel 9 pro XL? If so, which phone wins ? I am still to decide between the S24 Ultra and the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Photo quality (day and night) plus call quality and signal strength being my priorities. Thank you
@MassimosFotografie2 ай бұрын
Hi Warren and thank you! I have not reviewed the Pixel 9 Pro XL, but I have read quite a lot about it. In the future I will hopefully also review other Smartphone brands, including the Google Pixel Sartphones. I believe that you can't go wrong either way, but in overall I find that the Pixel 9 Pro XL produces better photo/video quality and a more natural look, whereas the Galaxy S24 Ultra produces a more processed look. Of course the Galaxy will have its advantages too, like 4K 120 FPS, but I think it's fair to conclude that the Pixel 9 Pro XL is the overall better performer when it comes to photo/video. I'd recommend to check out DxOMark or TomsGuide for instance. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Just for anyone coming here in 2024. My MK-8560 has recently stopped working, or at least it has in part.. the most important part. Can I still use it as a remote - Yes. Is my D850 seeing the battery in the grip - NO. I have all the differnt bits that allow you to use the large grey battery that gives you 9 shots a second, or the other internal part that allows you to use a normal ENL-15 - it used to work using either - now it doesnt see either battery. What I don't get is that the remote still works, which means it is connecting in part with my camera. Love if someone has the answer cause I can't afford a new one.

Hi JayBeeBeeR! I find that MrWhoseTheBoss often takes a more philosophic approach rather than a purely objective approach with the raw data for the viewers to evaluate themselves. I am not suggesting that he is misleading viewers deliberately, but I think that when reviews/comparisons are done in a certain way they can be misleading at times. I think MrWhoseTheBoss is a charming and likeable individual, and I watch a lot of his videos. His videos are great! When it comes to his Camera comparisons though, I find that his approach can sometimes be questionable, and I don't like when the photo file details are not shown. To his defense, he does compare other aspects of the Smartphones too whereas I only look at the Cameras. These videos require a lot of time and a lot of verifying. I saw his comparison of the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Which part are you referering to? kzbin.info/www/bejne/rISsk6mAd5mKmqs 13:17 that part? And btw, thanks for your kind comment. I noticed that the Pro Photo one had more Contrast, but when applying Adjustments I don't necessarily see one RAW having a better or worse Dynamic Range. @@MassimosFotografie Thanks I meant 'editability' i.e. being able to push exposure more without artifacts. I am testing this on my gf's S24 Plus and the Pro mode edits like a classic RAW from camera with a huge dynamic range and without color artifacts.

Exceptional overview. Very thorough and unbiased. As usual hopeully s25 can drastically improve video capture and add more accessble customization to both photo and video editing on the fly and post. I'm bummed they supposedly copying apple and only adding 50mp xtra wide angle lens instead of also increasing the more beneficial 3x lens from mere 10mp to 50mp. the s24 5x for portraits or in general is phenonemal..3x would be nice. Shame video isnt on same level as photos unless amazing light. the s24 filters are quite nice..theres ones to raise or decrease shadows as well as mood..so u can get contrast look or more shadow detail. i keep one on at all times. Filters need to be allowed to portrait on s25 hopefully.
@MassimosFotografie3 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching my video and your kind comment! I completely agree with what you said. The 3X Camera is argubly in a greater need of an Upgrade than the Wide Angle Camera. They already sort of copied Apple by replacing the 10X Camera with the 5X Camera, and the 5X Camera did more good than bad I'd say. The Max Zoom is not quite like the 10X of the S23 Ultra, but the Low Light Performance Upgrade is quite significant. I will gladly welcome any step forward with the new Wide Angle Camera on the S25 as long as it doesn't come with any sort of major downside like on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. As far as video, any sort of Log Profile would be quite nice! Now imagine Samsung delivering all of the mentioned with the S25 Ultra ;)
