First time I got a prawn suit it clipped through the ground and I just about shit myself, turned off the game, then never opened that save or tried to make a prawn suit again. What scares me isn't the creatures in the depths but the all encompassing, bottomless void. More terrifying than finding something is the thought, and in this case the knowledge, that I won't find anything at all. Of course, the reapers still scare me plenty, but nothing's more terrifying than not being able to see nothing. Also the Aurora scares me too. Especially the engines... Giant spaceships under water. I feel so small.

It’s funny, I’ve never actually felt that power. I know from videos like this that the prawn is, in fact, a force to be reckoned with, but it’s very clunky and difficult to pilot compared to the seamoth, and none of its defensive abilities really compare to the perimeter defense system. Besides mining and going to the lava zone, I basically only use the seamoth. Then again, I’m starting my second playthrough of Subnautica right now and just built my prawn, so I’ll give it another chance.

here’s a tip If your watching a tutorial and it says you need a sea moth with depth mk3 or prawn suit, don’t bring the prawn suit
