I think the gears are pressed too tightly. Try putting a piece of paper between the gears before you press them together and tighten it in place. Spin the gears to remove the paper

I got a 10T pinion gear idk if that will be large enough to fit into my spur gear
@carlozmrc Жыл бұрын
That’s actually small for a pinion for this type of rc, I recommend you look for the stock number online for your specific rc then go down 2 teeth at a time in the pinion until you find one that works best

A bigger pinion gear and smaller spur gear will help it go quicker & faster because the rotation time is shorter

I put my slipper back together after getting a new spur and it still ran like crap. I didn't know about that other bearing because mine was melted and being in a hurry and not following instructions I missed it. I bought an aluminum replacement and am going to attach it all to a steel spur and see what happens. I run mine on 3s and it eats those plastic spurs for breakfast.
@carlozmrc5 жыл бұрын
Bo Darville you’ll enjoy the chatter from the steel spur. I agree 3s can really grind up those plastic spurs, most of the time it’s all the torque that moves the gear mesh which is very important to take note of.
