Не было ни артиллерии, ни танков, только в кино это показывают. Я учил солдат попадать из винтовки через бронещиток немецкого пулемётчика, не то что эти мешки. После Силезии, где я командовал штурмовой группой Красной Армии, меня отправили дальше. Весной 1945 года мы брали города и населенные пункты Германии, сегодняшней Польши, Сталин отдал полякам после войны. Я помню пулемётчика на окраине городка, мы атаковали его укрепление и уничтожили точным огнем из винтовки. В группе у меня был солдат, который не был вооружен автоматом, а обезвреживать пулемётчиков из обычной винтовки Мосина, без оптики. Когда мы зашли внутрь укрепления, то увидели молодого солдата, привязанного цепью за ногу. Мы часто встречали таких смертников. Потом нам часто встречался фольксштурм, в том же городке мне пришлось уничтожить защитников баррикады. В плен они не хотели сдаваться . У них не было совсем опыта, мы шли по одной улице группой и они нас встретили огнем из винтовок. Я обхитрил их, я воевал в Сталинграде и под Москвой зимой 41-го и накопил огромный опыт и мне ничего не стоило одному взять штурмом баррикаду, обойти через магазин и предложить сдаться. Они бросили гранату и побежали. Но что это для меня? Сопливый выпад. Я расстрелял их. 実際の戦場とはかけ離れている様に見えてしまう、最前線を2人で張るとか戦略的に疑問に思うどう見ても近くに味方がいない様に見えるが、ただ良い所は戦場で片方だけが悪という設定になっていないのが良いところだと思うし恐怖や緊張感を描いている、どちらも戦争の犠牲者である事を描いて行って欲しい。

I’ve been watching a lot of metal detecting done in these old battlefields, and the amount of young men still left were they fell is enormous. Sometimes they even find similar situations to this, forward machine gunners and the ammo man still next their gun and ammo boxes it’s surreal to think about when watching things like this sometimes their paperwork is still somewhat intact and it’s a cold reminder what these men endured.
