But what happens once the internal storage can’t fit any more games from sd card? Does any game that can’t fit into the internal storage have all of its data gone?

Would this also work on digital Switch games that have been removed from the eShop for whatever reason thus not allowing you to re-download them onto a new SD card?

This is very helpful for sure and I have to try this for myself since I ordered another Nintendo Licensed SD card with 1TB data. One thing I have to ask first is this: Do you have to format the new SD card before you start transferring stuff from the old one to the new one if you’re doing this method? Also there are some games that cannot use the Save data cloud for my thing as they aren’t compatible, just an FYI.

Literally the worst explanation ever. Once you insert a new sd card you can go to the menu where all the games are and on the very bottom it will say redownload all software.
