The red dot is almost a cheat code. I’m more accurate with a G19 with a red dot than my Shadow 2. But my Shadow is by far the most accurate iron sight pistol I’ve shot.

My edc is a Shield Plus. It is very snappy and it took me a while to really learn and get better control of the gun. I have large hands and makes a bit of challenge using to ten round mag. I put pinky finger extender on it and it made big difference in controlling the gun. I really like it a lot but you must put in time with it to learn it and gain much better control of gun!

I recommend you to try the brother from cz shadow 2, which behaves even better in my subjective point of view when shooting Grand Power X-Calibur Match MK23. For the money out of the box TOP.

Put a 8 pound hammer spring with a extended firing pin! For 50 bucks it makes the double action 5.5 pounds and the single action 2 pounds flat! I also use a 10 lb recoil spring this is my competition set up and I shoot a lot of USPSA and steel challange.

You may already know how to do it but for those who don't, you can de-cock the CZ after racking the slide, you pinch the hammer between your finger and thumb of your weak hand and pull the trigger which will allow you to lower the hammer slowly and safely. Always point it in a safe direction first. You can also start the CZ from half-cocked which will shorten and lighten the trigger pull slightly. I don't know anyone that uses the safeties on the Shadow 2 in competition because they suck, everyone starts in DA. and learns how to pull the DA trigger. Add a Trijicon SRO, Lok palm swell grips, extended magazine base pads and maybe a Lok magwell to make those mag changes butter smooth. You can also install a bunch of upgrades from Cajun Gun Works to make that CZ a truly awesome gun. It will definitely bring the price tag in line with the Staccato or slightly more. Good video
