Been really enjoying Roll for InitiaGIVE. Just bought a shirt. Also, subscribed! I'm going on 40 and playing a family game, Phandelver and Below, with my brothers, partner, daughter, nephew and mother. It's been a lot of fun.

Rolling in from Roll for Initiagive, which I love so so so so SO! MUCH! I love crafty nerdy stuff, and if it's creative reuse, all the better. SO, this is comment 1, I'll get cracking on the 1 to 18 more comments requested below. Thanks!

Dude, i was about to take all my boxes from deliveries and moving to the recycling centre. Then go and buy stuff to do exactly what you did with your cardboard. Thankyou for educating me on how dumb i was being. Now im just gonna buy a bucket. I really like how the mache gives a natural earth type texture.

Yes! Terrain Craft Life! I'm building stuff for my Shattered Obelisk game. Great stuff. A good filler for the gaps in the foam is the expanding spray foam. You can shape it out as you go, trim it down with the cutter, and then cover it with the cardboard "putty." If you add grout to the mache, it will also dry a lot harder as well.
@JKevinCarrier

Using scrap styrofoam and home-made paper mache to bulk out your terrain is a genius idea, and pressing the grid into the wet slurry is likewise an inspired move. Very inspirational!

Hey Jesse....hope all is well. Had a thought that might have helped with the destruction of the cardboard. You could cut off the panels and user a heavy duty paper shredder to make smaller pieces to soak and create your slurry. I realize that it's too late for this project, but might help for future ones.
