Thank you so much!! I was super skeptical about downloading the file but it worked for me first try. I didn't reformat the USB, just loaded the .prn file onto a small USB stick and followed your instructions and now my printer is working again after MONTHS. THANK YOU!

Slecet both tables and then go to conditional formatting then click on duplicate values it will highlight matching rows and the new row will be not highlighted

Unfortunately, the file was I attached is only working for the specific printer. It is not working for your printer. You have to find the correct firmware for your printer.

For me it worked not to restart it right away, but to keep it off for about 3-5 minutes. And then turn it on again - the error disappeared. I'm not sure if this solves the problem. But it allows you to print in any case

You should not do that, and there is no need to worry about it. An AutoNumber field is a unique identifier that has no intrinsic meaning. It does not matter if there are gaps in the AutoNumber sequence.

Unfortunately, the attached file is only for the specific model. Same method may work if you get the proper firmware for your printer.

I've tried this on a HP Laserjet 700 Color MFP M775, but it did not work. When plugging in the USB nothing happens. I rebooted the machine with the USB in, but still nothing. Any advice on this one?

Unfortunately, this firmware is only supporting M 44X serious, I will have a look and update you in case I found the proper firmware

@SIA4TECH that would be amazing!! I don't want to have to throw it out as it's otherwise a great printer and I still have lots of cartridges, but unfortunately the service cost would be too huge to fix it.
