I don't understand why they no longer put on/off switch on these fryers? Just makes temp dials wear out way too fast. My 2 year old units dial already failed which is very common on new fryers. I read countless new fryer reviews on different companies customers saying theirs failed. My last fryer with a switch I just turned on/off rarely moving the dial was $30 at Kmart version that still worked fine after 16yrs. Should never tossed it.

It’s so they force you to keep fixing the fake things I have had to replace my thermostat over 40 times in the last 3 years.

But what you do is wire a kill switch with a fuse to the power in and run that to the side and mill out a small hole and my cooks just turn it off when they are done. It solved the dual issue
