When 4th qtr starts and it’s a tied game I’d be lucky to have him on my team. He’s gonna have more gas in the tank than the majority of the players he’s playing against. Rugby and soccer have very similar style of play due to the constant running and moving. His thighs are like tree trunks with alot of power to turn on the jets on a breakaway and the strength of his legs can run over the defensive and will be very hard to stop once he gets moving. His nickname will be the Juggernaut lol
@user-nk9cw5md8l2 ай бұрын
It was fast however to show you how fast this years wide receivers were at the combine pro day his time was tied for 15th place. He ran 4.5 with a 2nd run at 4.4. The fastest time was a 4.21.

In practice he actually ran 4.28 or 29. That was actually his slowest times in the test run and he was disappointed so he matched the better times and capable . Still just 23 so has room to get a bit faster
@SamPortland2 ай бұрын
@@mjtigerfang this issue with this is that hand times are proven to be 0.2 or more innacturate. It baffles me as to why they don't use laser times.

These footwork techniques could be put to good use in competitive practical shooting, with some minor adjustments
@SamPortland3 ай бұрын
Without a doubt! What adjustments would you make??
@kristian7623 ай бұрын
Well first of all, we don't really need to be jumping. Need to stay more connected to the ground, we may be shooting or getting ready to shoot ie moving into a shooting position so the gun needs to be stable. We don't really need to change direction very quickly, but we do need to be able to enter and exit positions quickly and efficiently. So for example, the use of the shin in assisting that is not something I've considered. The crossover would generally be used when shooting while moving laterally, or to move laterally quickly from one position to the next. So again as an example of what I would change for this drill, as I move into position at the cone I would acquire my shooting stance (need to arrive ready to shoot), pause for a few moments (to simulate target engagement) then explode out of position again. Shooting stance is feet wide, knees bent, weight forward of centre of gravity, ready to move. Similar to the way you'd stand on defense getting ready to make a tackle. A good stable position that allows you to move quickly in any direction
@SamPortland3 ай бұрын
@@kristian762 what do you mean by shooting position?
@kristian7623 ай бұрын
@@SamPortland well, in practical shooting sports you run through a course of fire with either a pistol, semi auto rifle, or semi auto shotgun depending on your sport. There will be barricades, stage boundaries, and multiple arrays of targets and different target types. You will have to navigate the course and engage targets as and when they become visible. Its all timed using a shot timer that records your time from the beep on the timer until the last shot fired. The goal is to move through the course of fire as quickly and efficiently as possible while shooting as quickly and accurately as possible. No two courses of fire are the same, the stage designer will be given leeway to build the CoF as he sees fit, staying within the regulations (target distances, types etc) specified in the rulebook. Quite simply, a shooting position is any area within the course of fire where targets are visible and available to be engaged. If you're interested you can look up videos of IPSC and USPSA competitions.

Have there been any success stories of rugby players making it big with one of the NFL teams? Christian Wade tried it out...scored a magnificent touch down on his debut and was then put into training squads for 2 or 3 years, but was never offered a full contract. LWZ has speed but he has no real upper body strength or power.
