I really could relate to Tom's encounters with the Eucharist! Thank you for sharing this. It seems to me when the Church started to ask the people to sing after receiving Communion, it took away that time for quiet listening and stillness. I was told that singing is praying twice, but possibly it takes away from the time you have to speak to or listen to Jesus in the Eucharist.

Edgar Willig was an amazing person and his children definitely live on his legacy. My mom worked for parkway. I will never forget when my dad got sick, Edgar prayed with my dad and they helped my family especially my mom. I eventually joined Meggitt previously parkway after my lengthy political career and finance career. Everyday I see the plaque where he dedicated the building to God. Joe is just as kind and sweet as he was.

Let us be encouraged by each other of your story and now Blessed Carlo Acutis who will be proclaimed a Saint on Divine Mercy Sunday who in his short life embraced the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist so much so that his display of Eucharist Miracles are used by the Vatican given to Catholic Churches world wide so they can avail themselves of this awesome work he was able to complete just before he died, for Our Lord knew we would doubt and to this day preforms Eucharistic Miracles to capture hearts and Souls still...

Our Lord waits for us in each tabernacle in America and the world let's flood our Churches this Advent and as Peggy come to know the intimacy Our Lord wants with all of us and as Catholic's help everyone make that a reality...
