hey man. happy new years. crazy year it's been, but what a joy there are such kindred spirits out there playing such music with such sentiment as this. if nothing else, this is what fills up the little pockets of my life with meaning and joy, outside the situations which so easlily envelop us as subjects of the world. hope you and yours are well. <3

Hello, why did you cover pinky keys with leather? Does it help you in something?
@soundole27014 ай бұрын
It's actually just a bit of mouldable plastic which slightly extends where those keys sit. A few years ago, I slightly changed the position of my left wrist to reduce strain and improve dexterity, and having those keys extend a bit further up made the transition easier!
@jimis31674 ай бұрын
@@soundole2701 I understand. I also consider the stock thumb rest position little low but my technician says, If gets it any higher, I'll have trouble reaching pinky keys. Plastic additions make sense. Aren't they slippery though?
@soundole27012 ай бұрын
That's actually a nice thing about this - I'm using a mouldable plastic called 'plastimake', and it's less slippery than metal keywork :)
