Rose wines ,more hours you leave the skin in contact with the( juice) more darker and tanic becames,if you leave it only few hours will get pale colour and (lighter )

Love some Greek Wines. Pinot Noir style with some complexity make this wine really nice and elegant

I love Liatiko! Such an elegant red grape from Crete! 🇬🇷 First things first. Your pronunciation is bordering on criminal 😂 But, equally true, it only makes me love you more! ❤🍷🍷🍷😂 I think the name Kompsos must be a reference the smart looking gentleman on the label because it means ‘elegant’. In this instance the meaning could be almost something like ‘the dandy’. I’m assuming it’s also intended as a descriptor of the wine itself. And by the sounds of it it is indeed an elegant red. Liatiko is often compared to Pinot Noir. It’s certainly a light red, as you mentioned. And although the forest floor and mushroom aromas are far less pronounced, I generally enjoy Liatiko more (biased, me? 😁😁😁). The Liatiko red fruit and acidity are so delightfully refreshing. Can I just say again (and again and again) that I love your videos you guys! You make me want to try every wine you taste! Crete by the is a fantastic wine destination. When you put a label in a bottle of wine like,wine society,or tesco or any other brand...there is always something missing, there is no way to get a excelent Rioja for 7 or 8 pounds per bottle...more thin,more watering feeling...

Its like a Bordeux stile some wines,ive tried a couple this year on the Decanter DWWA 2024. Guys you need to try one called Chateu St Michelle cabernet sauvignon usua on majestic wines. Its a delicious cab

Nice one guys.. This varietal is on my bucket list.. Each to their own of coarse but in regards to wine,i am an explorer.i love these different varitals. Xinomavro is often listed on 'high tannin wine varietal lists'.. In Listening to ya'll it seems that,at least with this example,the tannins are not so high. Thoughts? Cheers 🍷

Hi @notoverlyacerbic9574 , this particular bottle was not high in tannins at all. In fact, moving towards low tannins. I've not tasted many of this varietal, so unfortunately, I can't comment on whether this is typical - apologies! As always, thanks so much for taking the time to comment. Schweppes especially a skinny version would mostly always destract from a decent gin. Please get some more gin reviews going as you've only mainly done wines these past 18 months.

Well, Matt here from Florida. As a man who has lived in the US and the UK … good roast beef in the US is much the same as the UK. Good pairing with Roast beef. Better even with unpasteurized cheddar of which I am a fan and have not been lucky enough to find in the US since moving here.

Just having this wine and decided to search on youtube for a review because i couldn't quite describe the finish that the bourbon barrels give it. So happy I did, although there was like 1-2 minutes of actual wine review, both you laughing had me fully entertained for the remaining 9 😂.
