I am looking so do the same thing with 350B on some ole logging trails. Is the 350 good on going up steep hills?

I see you have a brush rake. It is similar to the one I built for my D4. Good job you are doing there.

Great idea but I think you will be much happier with it a bit lower and about 45 degree instead of vertical, it won't fall out. I mix my oil in an old 1 qt. oil jug to keep it fresh and bar oil is in dish soap bottle for ease of handling. For what you're doing gas and oil could easily be on the screen also. Doing a great job. Greetings from the farm near Battle Creek, Mi.

You're doing a great job and pretty impressed with your work. Not your fault for cracks anyplace. In the 80's my buddy building pole barns on his own bought a J.D. 350. Amazing what the cute little thing can do but before long it was leaking coolant into the oil so I put new sleeves and pistons in it. Ran great but turns out it had a big crack in the frame than had been welded before. About midway of tracks. He eventually got divorced and dozer had to go of course. I'm certain it had a different style blade set up than yours though. A more modern design I think. Nice video, Thanks.

You might want to get a rops or some type of protective cab! It will save you from a lot of abuse working in the woods! Great sounding solid older machine ! Blessings to you and stay safe!

Nicely done, would a plow be justified in your area? My smaller 2320 plows much faster than my loader in up to 8 inches of snow. All the best and God Bless. 🙏❤🇺🇸

I guess you guys have a lot heavier soil than we do here in southeast Missouri. I run a 6 foot tiller on my 3039r and ran it on my 3038e at max depth of 7 inches with plenty of hp to spare. Tills it up into powder.

When I bought my property in 1990 ,I bought a 350 with 6 way blade. The undercarriage was beat ,but I just went easy with it and used it for years. Sold it for twice what i paid for it. 😁

Nice job on the trail. I operated one of those JD 350’s years ago except the one I used had a six way blade. Super handy and capable little dozer.

Is the blade staying level a feature or a sign of wear?

It takes 3 whole seconds to go to neutral, wait a second then change direction without riding a wheelie. Damn, these machines are 50 plus years old. Ease up on them. They'll run forever if you take care of them.

H, i I have a 350b dozer, it is a great machine. In the dead of winter -15 F in northern NY I start it with a paint striping heat gun, blowing it into the air intake, (take the air cleaner off) I do it for a about a minute before trying to start it. It works every time for me, Good luck and have fun!
@jbnshop25742 жыл бұрын
I'll have to remember that one! Right now the dozer is parked for the winter while it gets some much needed upgrades (FOPS, new blade components, and a root rake) but I'll have to remember that if we wanna do some winter logging!

I am a bit late to viewing this video (now a new subscriber)., but your comment(s) about the various problem(s) with this little dozer… Well it looks to me like it is doing just fine.., that little unit is worth its’ weight in gold. Even with the little things it will get a lot of work done.. Great video, Thank you sir.
@jbnshop25742 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the subscribe and the kind words. The dozer does work as it is for sure and I can still get a lot of work done, but the blade pins are more or less shot and can no longer angle left and right. I plan to fix it this winter, but just need to find the material to do so. Thanks!

Buckthorn a problem in the peoples socialist republic of western New York. I had three acres full of it. I cut the bigger stuff and brush hogged the rest. Well under control but like leftist politicians it’s impossible to completely eradicate.
