Does it mean that the ‘retard’ will start at the time I press the <end-> button again ? If it take 4 measures to end totally, the retard start at the 3rd if I press the button one more time at the 3rd measure.

Do you turn off the synthesizer sounds using the local off function? If not, then the native sounds of the psr463 will be heard, if yes, why didn't you explain this?
@morriereece5007
@morriereece5007 4 күн бұрын
I did explain it...at the 4 minute 48 second location in the video I explained, with a slide, that you can turn off the voices, and in the video you NEVER heard the main voices of the E463, because I turned themt off using FUNCTION #011 Master volume set to zero.

Sir ,i have a question. For the longest time im trying to figure out how to get a fixed 127 velocity. I use it as a midi keyboard but non of the touch res function has it. The fixed oprion in there is 60 or 80 velocity. I realy hope there is a way , because beside how to learn to play , the secind reason i bought it is to use it as midi keyboard

While playing e463 have you selected Audio Tracks in Garage Band for Grand Piano.
@morriereece5007
@morriereece5007 9 күн бұрын
yes in the video I use an audio track in GarageBand to record the sound of the grand piano in the E463 keyboard, but I could have set up a grand piano MIDI track in Garageband and used that piano voice, which is actually better than the grand piano voice in my keyboard.

Hello Morrie, unfortunately I don't speak English. Thank you very much for all your videos. I learned so much from you. My keyboard is also E 463. I miss the Hawaiian guitar so much. Can you help me which voice and which settings I need to make so that I can create a similar voice? Or can I load such a voice onto the keyboard from the Internet? Greetings from Bern/Switzerland

Thanks for the channel, Morrie. I need to fast forward a bit sometimes but I always learn something. I notice that at the faster tempos you sometimes repeatedly re strike the left thumbs chord note mostly it seems in synch with the bass. Is this to keep that hand on the beat ready for the next chord change? If so maybe I should try that because I struggle to change the chord in time. The keyboard seems to need to be instructed ever so slightly ahead of the chord change. Is the Tyros any easier in this respect?
@morriereece5007
@morriereece5007 12 күн бұрын
I basically use my left thumb to keep time. I grew up playing piano so my left hand was in constant use playing, and I played guitars for decades. So my left hand was in constant use . Now on the E463 my left hand hits a cord....and then just sit there waiting for the next chord change. Otr of old habit, my left thumb wants to keep moving to the beat. ....nothing more....

I have an oldie - the PSR-275. I've been using it for a couple of years now, but haven't tried Styles. It's amazing how similar the button layouts are on the PSR-275 and the E463. Your instructions showed my how simple it is to use Styles. Thanks.

Hey Morrie. Thanks for the lessons you put on. I was wondering if you could do the same type of videos, but on your Tyros next??? I don't own a Tyros right now, (I used to have a Tyros 2), right now I have a PSR-SX700, which it electronic controls are very similar to the Tyros and I was wondering if you could teach it as you do with the E463.🤔 Thanks.

The E473 does not work exactly like the E463. For example, you use a SHIFT button to access functions and my E463 doesn't even have a SHIFT button.(I only know this because I downloaded your owner's annual and looked at your keyboard.) I've never touches an E473, so I'm sorry but I'm at a loss to know what your issue may be.
