Hi Morrie! I always wanted to ask you, what volume balance do you use, between the style volume and the mail volume? When I play, my style, it is always too loud and I cannot find the right balance between the two of them!! I know it depends, what song you play, but isn't a general rule how to balance out both to an optimal volume? Thanks!!
@morriereece500710 күн бұрын
there are several factors that determine how I set the main volumn and the style volume. The first consideration is what instrument have I set up as my main voice. A piano will sound different than say a flute or a cello, so I have no set rule for what the volume is going to be for the main voice vs the style volume. But...I ALWAYS have the main volume louder than the style volume in all my songs, so I can hear that main voice. I always set the duel voice volume lower than the main voice volume in all my songs.

I recently saw your video about the ability to download about 9500 styles for the E463 keyboard. Now I see that this KZbin video is gone and even the link you provided doesn’t work anymore. Is there a possibility to still get these styles? Would you be so kind as to send me a zip-file(s)? If not, no problem, I will still watch your videos with interest.

unfortunately I got an email form the lady who put all those styles up on the web and she didn't want to let people download the styles from her storage site, and she deleted the link to her storage site. thus I had to delete my youtube.

Wanted to comment on the new video but comments are disabled, so anyway - thank you! I got my E473 few weeks ago and still trying to practice my chords (wanted to get a more expensive keyboard like Genos but figured I'll start with a cheaper one first). However I'm going to look for a better way of loading styles into the keyboard (or using an app for the styles, using the keyboard for as a midi), because this system of transferring by USB is way too slow and cumbersome, tried it for a day and it's a no go. When I'll find a better way using my IPAD or Android tablets, I'll share. Thanks again for all the cool links and simple lessons, it's appreciated.

Please tell me which tone formats are compatible for the Yamaha PSR-EW425? I tried .qsf from the usb stick, but when I press load, it shows me the data error.

Morrie, Thank you so much for this very generous project you have going right now of sharing your "found" custom styles for specific songs and for demonstrating them for us to use. It is so instructional and such a great gift! Thank you!

Morrie, I have to tell you this! Before I discovered your fantastic videos, I was the owner of the PSR e473 and I decided to sell this keyboard (I still have this😊) and get the e463. It took me 3 month!, until finally I got it. It was sold out all over. Ok, the e473 has more function, but I think the sound of the e463 has a much better quality and the keys are softer to play!! So, I will put an extra "thanks" for you, in this comment!! A thanks for introducing this great instrument to the public!!
