1) Turn blue knob to BYPASS 2) Hold bottom bar to enter regeneration mode (arrows🔄) 3) Only wait a few minutes in brine/rinse for pressure to be released 4) 3/4 socket for plug removal 5) Suck old carbon out/don't take too long 6) Will have to empty the shop vac at least once because of water 7) Add new carbon material 8) Get the plug back installed before backwash 2 starts at the end of brine/rinse 9) Once in backwash 2, turn blue knob to SERVICE 10) Wait 3 minutes of backwash 2 then skip all processes to main menu using bottom bar (arrows 🔄)

How did you pre measure you carbon out? Are you using volume or weight, and what are those numbers?

Thanks for the narrative. You explained that this is the factory configuration for the pump and switch. I DID IT another's way and the pump continue to run and gravitated the pump I would have to manually pull the power to stop the pump from running all the time. You left out details about what side of the valve [high & low side] I see the screws so that gave me the directions I needed. Thanks again

can I add this pump if I already have a permeate pump? I moved the RO system to my basement near to all my filters and added a bigger tank the problem is that my pressure coming out my RO is 15-18 PSI, incoming is 50-60 PSI

So we are sucking out the water and carbon while it is in brine/rinse mode, correct? Also, at the end, when you go into backwash for at least 3 minutes, do we have to brine/rinse again or just wait 3 minutes and tap regenerate twice for the home screen?

If you bypass the unit then can water flow into the house? We have no water and had left for 2.5 months without realizing we had to have salt loaded into it. It was completely out when we got home and now, no water at all. Thinking by bypassing the unit we can now get water until this problem is attended to by the company?

theres difrent ways of connecting it when i bought my pump i did it per instructions that came with it witch is connect the pump directly to the outcoming feed and into the first stage filter and pressure switch is connected between the tank and and the last carbon filter
@elinca24734 жыл бұрын
Julio Santana the pump yes but the switch depends on application. For drinking water it needs to go as he says . Takes about a glass and a half to start the pump. For fish tanks in between the t connect and the tank.

I've tested 3BEQ Watermax that was 12 years old and was still removing 100%chlorine like a champ. They are rated to remove up 3 PPM of chlorine so I recommend you test your water for chlorine every 3 years

Same question here. Where do we purchase it?
@jsemaj84514 жыл бұрын
Search C-40 active carbon online, ask companies questions. I bought 50lb bag for about $100.00 years ago, works great, skip paying Hague for their high dollar carbon or change. Sorry I don't remember where I bought it from
