I agree with Northern island having a British round, but I also think that the youth and ladies should be on the Saturday with the ACU TrialGB being on the Sunday, it just makes so much sense in my eyes, Great Vlog guys keep them coming

Thanks again, Neil. I think having all British Championships... Adult, Ladies & Youth, on the same weekend is what Barry has in mind. It seems to be the way some other federations run their national series.

Great Vlog guys, Matt I have to agree with you 100% about a 200cc being the perfect clubman bike, I see clubman riders on fire breathing 300cc and the bike is riding the rider, 200 is the way forward 😁😁 See you all in Fort William guys

Smage beat Toby a few years back at a rare indoor trials that Smage road in Europe. Last week Toby got a combined total of ONE point, over two days, in the NATC Pro Class. Impressive. Smage had 5 total combined points. The first day was all clean for both of them, then they had a ride-off, from what I heard. Fun!

What are the different number plate color classifications; yellow, red, green, etc? Thanks
@trialstalk5 ай бұрын
The Yellow plates are TrialGB class, Green are Trial 2 and White are Expert & 125(Youth). The Red plate indicates the Championship leader in each class.

great interviews. Thanks. Busto does have the reputation of being incredibly talented, but perhaps once he conquers the mental side of wanting to be Champion he will consistently challenge Toni. I would also love to hear your thoughts on the fact that some bikes just suit some riders better than others....Grattorola, and maybe Gelabart. Time will tell. ALL the bikes are so very good now.
@trialstalk7 ай бұрын
Thank you Stephen👍 Definitely a case for some bikes suiting riders more than others, look at Grattarola last year... nowhere on the Vertigo, back to Beta, podium 1st time out. Aniol Gelabert has won a Trial2 round on TRRS a couple of years ago, probably too early to tell if he will gel with it again. Hopefully he will, for both his and TRRS' sake.

One of the best behind the scenes insights yet , great interviews , As regards the comment about Busto being too relaxed , Busto is going to take over , He's found his confidence , and because of this he's more relaxed , which is a good thing not a bad thing , Dare I even say his style is sometimes better than Bou and Raga ,,,,But Bou is still top dog , and I can't see him nudged for some time yet , but Busto is the next challenger since Raga to really nip at the heels . look forward to the next upload already
@trialstalk7 ай бұрын
Wow, thank you! I agree with you about Busto... his style is relaxed and when he's on it, he makes things look ridiculously easy. But... being so relaxed, he sometimes loses focus and that's what costs him. There's no doubting his talent. Marcelli is much more focused and comes across as more determined, ultimately, I think that will pay dividends for him.
@grski9000000000000007 ай бұрын
@@trialstalk Marcelli is a beast no doubt and probably going to be the biggest competition to Busto when Bou hangs up the boots.He seems to need to work harder than Busto to achieve the results , but no doubt an elite rider at a young age. Maybe the next generation of trials riders will have a more mixed podium with such a good roster of upcoming talent. You forget how young these new kids are starting their professional career and the fact that the two top dogs in the paddock (until Ragas injury and bike change) have been headed toward 40 (Bou) and past 40 (Raga) at the top level of their career , Toni Bou is going nowhere for a long time and that means he's going to be still peaking at 40+ in his long onslaught of World Trials. And lets not forget , Raga is coming back from injury and getting used to a new Sherco ..So He's still a podium contender as soon as He's back to 100% Imagine how good Busto , Marcelli , Gelabert , Benoît and Toby ( and the next up and coming riders ) will be in 10 years time This can only mean good things for the future of Trials
@trialstalk7 ай бұрын
You are right, the next 4-5 years are going to be very interesting, there will be an inevitable change of the guard at the top, it remains to be seen which of the next generation will be able to step up. It's easier to be the underdog, but when you have to deal with the endless pressure of expectation, that is a totally different ball game.
@joshmaude52877 ай бұрын
Busto doesn’t seem to ’want it’ enough like bou. When he 5s a section or makes a mistake he doesn’t seem bothered. I still think bou is head and shoulders above everyone else. Gabri is someone that I see more potential in because he seems more determined. I think when bou hangs his boots up it will be busto, gabri, toby, gelebert fighting at the top.
