What are Korean auto doing with these prices? I’d love to support the brands as I think the design and reliability is first class.. but they have to be aware the EV market needs to be more affordable to get more Aussies able to make the transition! You can get a BYD or ofc a Tesla that include so much more as standard for so much less cost. Come on!

Since President Felon just eliminated all the incentives, the 2025 Ioniq 5 is now more expensive. I consider it a kick-in-the-teeth to Hyundai after the automaker invested so much time, energy, and beaucoup bucks in the new Georgia factory so that its EVs will be "Made in America" -a condition for those incentives.

Those green highlight trims look hideous in my opinion. I can deal with the bling of the golden wilderness but green looks so out of place with most body colors like the blue body in this video. Imagine this with the champagne or brown body colors.

im so glad i got my ioniq 5 for $20k used 12k miles. no one should EVER buy this or ANY car for $75k+ thats just OUTRAGEOUS

I have a brand new 2024 Kamiq (Bought last month) after trading in a 2020 Kamiq. Lovely cars, can't praise them enough. Have the 1.0 TSi DSG version and it's pretty punchy. Unless something better for the price bracket comes along, i'll buy another Kamiq in a few years as well.

I had a 2016 levorg. The 2 litre is much more fun than the current WRX engine. I test drove a new WRX ts and was very underwhelmed. For $66k feels very old. The Hyundai is cheaper and and feels more fun and a lot newer. I ended up buying a mustang mach E!

One great review love the the look of this Ioiq 5 over in a America a couple of months ago on KZbin there where some video's on the topic of the battery failing on the Ionic 5 so many had failed to replace battery it was going to cost more than the car cost new so they had to right of these cars of on insurance not good at all who would by a EV after watching these clips.

Id buy it in that it doesnt have CVT snd you act service the transmission in mazda. Id buy corolla if they ditch cvt

The Ioniq 5 has had ICCU issues since 2022 and Hyundai refuses to fix it correctly. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022-2024 IONIQ 5, 2023-2025 IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified," and Genesis G80 "Electrified" vehicles. The Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) may become damaged and stop charging the 12-volt battery, which can result in a loss of drive power.
