Pretty obvious that Chris has no idea how the vocals actually go; not a Dylan fan, evidently. I was surprised seeing a video of Chris playing with some students at a rock clinic. They wanted to play "Pinball Wizard", but Chris didn't know it. I doubt he'd ever tried to play it. That was really shocking since Squire had been inspired by John Entwistle, if I'm not mistaken. I think CS was a genius with anything that he'd written and rehearsed, I mean his bass lines are really inventive and incredible. Picking up random tunes though is something he seemed to be less interested in.

They vibe so well, i dunno why but whenever i see these clips from the going for the one sessions i forget about all my sorrows and i get overdosed on dopamine. I ship these two, actually i ship any memeber of the band with Chris, Chris has amazing chemistry with all of them, no debate. I'm glad that i discovered Yes only 4 months ago and not before the 2010s, i would have been too devasteted by his death if i knew this at the time, ad maybe my opinion on the band would have been very different.

Tom stays in "the shadows" on stage as the rest of the band members have "huge personalities" on stage. Robin is the face of the band - the crooner (one of my all time favorite singers). Bun E. (and now Dax) is the ultimate timekeeper, and Rick is the "goofy nerd" with his screaming guitar licks... allot of personalities on that stage... Tom quietly provides the UNIQUE DRIVING SOUND of Cheap Trick with his 12 string bass which is key to their sound, and is the foundation of their music... You know who they are as soon as you hear the first few measures...

I dunno, Markus could be a pretty good DJ as a side gig!
