I first saw this video on MTV when I was going to college at UW-Madison. Had my roommate go to B-Side Records on State Street and buy the CD (See the Money in My Smile) the very next day. Good stuff.

My parents accidentally stumbled across a copy of Bullfighters Disco on vinyl while shopping in an antique store last weekend. They called me up to ask if I ever heard any of your music because I'm the music guy in the family. I had not, but now I'm a fan. I did have them pick the record up for me by the way.

My favorite period in music... it lasted like... 3 years..... it was so creative. Then it just turned into garbage with the Grundge... and Nirvana wanna bees... and it was gone. I love the Jack Rubies and that whole creative age of things.

I did some work for TVT Records back when they were there. I really thought these guy would break big.

I did work for their record label, TVT Records, and I really thought these guys were gong to be big. I think they were just a bit ahead of their time.

Saw them twice I am sure at the now defunct Dovecot Arts Centre in Stockton on Tees between 1986 and 1990. Fantastic live band that disappeared into oblivion all too quickly. Still have some singles and albums. Always thought they would have been much bigger.

A ridiculously underrated band. Why they never achieved widespread fame is shocking. I live in the US and they were a flash in the pan. I’m wondering if they fared better in the UK and elsewhere. I love this band…still enjoying their music almost 40 years on.

In lock down, I'm drowning in nostalgia. I love hearing these early versions of those tracks that are ingrained in my head. "Stig of the Dump'! - I lost my childhood copy but on a visit to Chichester ( a shop called Whitstones, perhaps) several years ago, I finally regained it.
