The Caribbean pirate of Puerto Rican desent by the name of Roberto Cofresì when he was killed in 1825 for piracy the original recipe was lost but as a time traveler i was able to retrieve it out of a necessity to reduce scurvy lack of vitamin C this pirate captains recipe consited of bananas limes coconut water pineapples & dark rum from cuba & Jamaica blended with crushed ice Coco lopez was also born out of this concoctions

here's the backstory - A man named Spencer Weaver from the South Seas restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii (circa 1970) tasted Donn's Zombie and came up with this recipe for his South Seas' Zombie. We were very surprised how good it tasted!

Absolutely. Remove the block from the cooler and pour out the excess water. Keep in freezer until you are ready to break it down. When ready, put the block on a cookie sheet and let it temper for 20 to 30 minutes. When it has a wet sheen to it, you can safely break it down to individual cubes.
