Bought my 2007 bog standard in 2010 with 4300km on the odo. It's been with me ever since. I love it to bits. It's big, it's heavy, it's ridiculous. But it's nimble for the size and it never fails to make me grin like a dickhead every time I roll on the throttle and it tries to lovingly pull my arms off. 😅 I'll ride it 'til the wheels come off. Tried to sell it twice, couldn't get myself to do it.
@silentjmotoАй бұрын
@wasbeer77 don't see them for sale anywhere really, might be worth more to keep it longer. I'd definitely like to own one of them. Enjoy and thanks for commenting!

@silentjmoto yeah, they are getting rather rare... I live in New Zealand these days, brought it all the way out here from the Netherlands. Will probably take it with me to Thailand next year too. Who knows, might sell it one day if the price is right, but I doubt it. 😁

Such a rare bike im sure it was hard to pass up, but its not the best at anything, its just a wakadoo standard with a tank so huge, I've never seen its equal. Sat on one in tye dealer, couldnt get over the dimensions of the thing. And for a standard to me its really hard to beat the Mt09 3 banger or Speed Triple, or Ducati. Torque is so much funner and kess deadly tyna readline hP
@silentjmoto6 ай бұрын
@heatmoon for the price they were asking ($6,200) it was a great deal...if it was in good condition. However checking the bike out in person, all the carbon pieces were almost completely worn/faded, the tail section was pretty flimsy and squeaky, the license plate holder was custom with lights but the wiring was exposed and didn't look done professionally or with any care, and it also had an aftermarket alarm installed in which they didn't have the remote too😬it just seemed like too much of a gamble. And yes I much prefer the torque rather than winding a bike out to 8k rpm just for it to start pulling. I'd like to ride a street triple or ducati some day as well, I had a 2015 xsr900 and I didn't really enjoy it🤣

I have just tried fitting there to my R9T Racer and cannot get the DRL to come on. The main lights come on no problem but them side DRLs don’t come on. The cable that the bulb was connected to doesn’t make sense to me. What did you do with the bulb after connecting the cable into it? If that makes sense?
@silentjmoto6 ай бұрын
@den9501 @den9501 thanks for reaching out. It's been over a year ago so I don't really recall, I do remeber that there were some wires I did not use, which I believe were the wires for DRL yellow signals. Currently, when I turn the key, the DRL lights come on, and once the bike is started the main lights come on as well. Not too sure if the wiring for the racer is different from the roadster, but I would contact them to give you better instructions on the wiring. Some people have also stated that their bikes throw a Lamp error code. When I first installed, I did not have this issue for a year, but recently when I crashed my bike it now gives me an intermittent lamp error code. Hope you can get it sorted out ! Sorry I couldn't help you out more
@Moto.Den856 ай бұрын
@@silentjmoto aye it might be wired slightly differently then. My DRLs don’t come on at all. The other ones do though so I’ll just need to look into it a bit more. Thank you for your quick reply. I appreciate it 👍

It's more of a Plug n Adjust, then play lol. Other than fitment, no issues with wiring or bulbs themselves.
