James Child It's an awkward bastard child of UK house and garage. Our modern day milieu of genre fusion makes it exceedingly difficult to give styles proper labels.

to be honest, I would call this progressive house (as in Sasha, Digweed, Cattaneo, etc and NOT big room like Avicii or Alesso) or neo house (indistinguishable between tech and progressive house, so Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82, Tale of US, deep Solomun, etc). But this is only one viewpoint ;)

Unslender Man Man, I've gotta disagree. Neither Midland nor Caribou have anything that would belong under the label of progressive house, including this remix.

Personally, this sounds nothing like Dusky or Gorgon City or Disclosure or Artful Dodger or Sunship or Bump & Flex to me. Plus, I thought you said it was difficult to give styles proper labels as such anyways, thus making our disagreement proving your point ;D
