@@madtownangler hi , a lot of the waters in the UK are day ticket carp waters that have stocked catfish and unfortunetly , they ban live and dead baits

@@madtownangler shrimp is an amazing bait if you can find it try squid that's fantastic as well.

I had some squid jerky once when I went fishing. Was quite nasty but a drunk guy.from work who went with us ate that stuff up

Hiya , the issue is once the water gets below 13 C the cats start to hybernate

@@TheBladerunner1975 we're going to stop for the winter and pick up again in spring once the water warms up. We fished all last winter and it was hard work for no fish caught (not a jimmys at a different water), we look for water to be above 13c for the fish to be feeding. Tight lines

It depends on the situation, on a new water or a water we're I know the cats are testing for changes in resistance without question I would use semi fixed rig or inline semi fixed . However if the catfish are competitive with each other, and are confident takers then I would use a ceramic running rigs.

Hi , depending were we are fishing it's either local water knowledge built up over trips , combined with info of the balief and locals, watercraft and things like persistent wind direction.... On waters we don't know we also do castable sonar scans.

because its not worth haveing the arguments over the toxic comments that finding there way on to Face book, written mainly by bigoted men and jealous individuals - so we for now have taken them down

hi good question , mainly it depends on your personal build and how you fight fish - I prefer the persuaders (kitty/immi) because they have a true all through action and are softer while still having plenty of power in the butt to middle section, this means that I can make use of the whole action of the blank with my limited strength and still tackle big fish. However Sara is many times stronger than me and she can make full use of the stiffer and more powerful monster tamers, where I cannot. So in simple terms both are good rods, if your a really strong person and you like to feel every aspect of the fight through the blank then the monster tamers are probably the better option, if you need a softer rod that will absorb a lot of the fight and you can use to handle heavy fish if you have less strength then the persuaders is the better weapon to choice. Hi, yes in this case we were while there were strong winds on Sara's rods, I was able to turn down sensitivity on my delkims so didn't need them.

@Transfishinggirls I use them no matter how bad the weather is it helps pin the line down so no more liners makes line less visible
