@@SteveWade-j3w if it’s the same issue I encountered in the video then the bad LED is the one in the freezer. Replace that one and lights in the refrigerator will come back on, like a set of Christmas tree lights.

Used a standard rivet gun. I first carefully drilled out the old rivets, put the new trim in place, then place rivet in gun then in the whole ensuring the trim is between the rivet and the metal/whole. Keeping pressure on the rivet start squeezing the rivet gun handle a few times until you hear the pop of the rivet. Note it’s important you use the factory rivet since it has plastic in the rivet hole to prevent water getting in. If you used a standard rivet you then need to make sure you get the right size rivet and need to cover the rivet hole with silicone or something to prevent water getting in.

Not sure, but as long as the parts you use withstands the 175 max PSI it should work.

Yes, I have a American Home Shield and when they sent their technician they said it was the light board then American home shield informed me that they would not cover the light board and it would cost me $400 to repair. So that’s when I decided to troubleshoot the issue myself and figured out that the lights are configured just like Christmas tree lights; when one goes out, they all go out and that’s when I noticed the freezer LED light was out. Bought the replacement LED light for $14 and fixed it myself. Someone on the channel told me someone was charging them even more to fix it, but they followed my video and saved the money. Thank you! How do you get the drawers out? Do we have to take the big door off and then take out both of the others? I have been trying to find a video with a fridge like this explaining the drawers.

@@mandyflaniken1900 I didn’t have to take the drawers out to get to light. It wasn’t that hard to get to light with drawers in place.

You can use a putty knife and a flat head screwdriver or any flat tool that you can wedge underneath the light casing. It’s not hard in itself what makes it difficult is the location plus the drawer isn’t easily removable.

@@SexyTexas Turns out it was the back glass seal. Had the seal replaced and fixed it.

@@burleyg1063 it ended up just being the seal on my back glass which apparently is very common. The resealed my back glass for $200

We also are having difficulty getting the freezer light component removed. Did you get yours out?

One thing I observed was that even though all the lights were out that if you look closely you will see a very faint glow of light in the middle of the LEDs except for the one that is bad. I recommend you do this in the dark and see which light has no light at all and that should be the bad one. Good luck, keep me posted.
