My first baby was 8lb 10 oz my second was 8lb 11.5 oz a week earlier (because of the fear of being a huge baby) my third was 9lb 4 oz a few days early and my last…..drum roll…..he was 12lbs even, all natural almost born in the car/ entrances of the hospital. I knew I would have large babies my mom had large babies and when I was pregnant my stomach was always huge. And with my last one by like 7 months I was feeling like I should be giving birth. I remember people who were working to start labor in the store were looking at me and I could just imagine them thinking I’m past due and i still had 2 months to go. He was born though with a lot of complications that were associated with gestational diabetes but every time I took the test with was like 3-4 times to be sure I always passed. So idk and the doctors didn’t know.

Can I have you as my doc! Omg ! Where do we find such amazing thinking individuals doctor! 36 weeks 3 days today , 4”11 , 113 pre baby , 146-152 range current and of course I seem to make BIG bellies yes bellies because even though my first was only 6 12oz everyone and my doc was convinced I would be 10lb baby and thankfully birth was great but of course now my second I’m being told like HUGE belly ! Possibly BIG baby and considering I had an absolutely non medicated birth with my first I’m due today for the “estimate” weight and of course doc is already saying we’ll need to talk about considering “other” options if we’re told baby is over 9 lbs….. to me of course that Means push of c section and I’m so scared but I did tell her I WANT TO TRY regardless of what the ultrasound says .

Csection does not make you any less of a mother but it’s a major surgery that no one should take it lightly.

Hey, I learned a lot from your video, thanks. However, I feel you understated the value of antenatal perineal massage (APM). According to a 2013 Cochrane Report and a 2020 systematic review and meta-analysis APM significantly reduces pain and trauma when practiced a few times a week after the 35 week. It is a much more common and well accepted practice outside the United States and would be helpful to many women here.

If there was 3rd degree tearing with baby #1 will that be a weak spot when giving birth to baby #2 and possible re-tear where it had been stitched?

Midwifery is a profession of my choice. Assisting a mother deliver a baby ijs a great moment that every one needs to have an experience in. and all moms need to be supported especially by their husbands.

How can you be glad to have had a cesarean vs having it natural?! I'd rather go thru hours of pain then months to a year of recovery from being cut! 😌

Why doea everyone make it sound like its a problem if they had a girl. Its always boy this and boy that! I had soooo much pressure to produce a son it made me feel (and people still do or make comments) like it was my fault. this man was an ass!!

I agree kids shouldn't be a part of the birth process.. "Its natural, educational". Well so is sex but they weren't there when the baby was made either.. I hope!
@CrystalBrown-he7oh11 жыл бұрын
We only feel like this because of our American culture. Sex and birth are not the same in the eyes of children, don't be perverse.
@marravirge457211 жыл бұрын
What's the problem with pain meds?! Why go thru all that pain for NO reason? There's no Perfect Painful Pu$$y Award coming in the mail for you or cash prize if you make it thru birth without pain meds. It may not be necessary but its nice to have.. JMO...
@CrystalBrown-he7oh11 жыл бұрын
Because an epidural puts the mother and baby at unnecessary risk. If you are interested in educating yourself on the risks the information is pretty readily available these days. Happy researching :)

Why do you think so? This is where they came from,theres nothing mysterious or disturbing about "those body parts". The only thing that might disturb them is seeing their mum screaming and being in pain.

there is a reason why most inductions end badley.we arnt ment to boss around nature for our modern convenience ,,,think about it did you get to demand when your body ovulated or did you have to let nature take it course,yes induction has a very small place to save medical diignosed life threaening situations but its so tiny.we are nature no matter how much you try to surpress it,there will always be a price to pay when we stop respecting tribal ways of life remember who you are.

im sick of ignorance babies actually arnt realy ment to be born till what we consider there 1st birthday evary other mamel has far more devoloped babies to get around the shear space restriction we must be born before that stage ,the earlest we are realy ready to start to cope on the outside is 42.5 week as whitnessed and calculated by gallalayo(ignore my dislexia)so we arnt realy overdue till 40 weeks +14.5 days past conception day not last menstration.induction is huge violation of nature.
