What is your exhaust setup?

You could get Wind Deflectors (small fins with 3M that you can stick to the top of your spoilers) and spend some time aligning them and attaching them to your original spoiler. They are $18 for a set of eight in AutoZone. They look really good (make sure you spend some time aligning them on top of your spoiler). That is much easier and fun to do as an alternative.

My dude you 100 Rev that thing more than it should and you are not ginger at the line let's be honest. The gas will reflect that. I get 8.5L/100km regularly. On road trips I've gotten 6.9/7 on flat highways .

Hey, we have the same year CRV, I put 2018 GT mustang rims on mine, torque thrust with a diamond cut, the perfect amount of poke, but along with poke you could only lower your car so much and I don’t want to go past 2° on negative camber I don’t wanna wear my tires out. So I get this whole shitty game trying to get right fitment

I’ve seen a lot of TC yours is the nicest looking one I’ve ever seen, I understand what you’re saying about aftermarket parts, they make all sorts of ground package kits for the first generation, second generation, third generation CRV, but then they skip the fourth generation because that’s the one I have and then they make stuff for the fifth and sixth generation, so I know what you’re saying about slim pickings

I’m about to go test drive a 2015 tc here in Hawaii due to my previous work hooptie crapping out. It’s got 114k miles. So naturally I did some digging and have seen mostly great reviews. I’ve seen a few people question oil consumption, some say mpg not the greatest, cheap ish interior etc. But man I been pushing a 02’ Camry and she burns some oil, fuel efficiency is around the same or worse and interior is well out dated. The 2015 tc is gonna be a big work vehicle upgrade for me as long as maintenance history and carfax looks good.

The words we want to hear at the end is Toyota Celica. The tC is really a spiritual successor to the Celica if you look at it. Most engines in the Rav4 are in the Celicas and the same with the tC.

I have the 2014 too. Do you have to manually turn on/off the headlights every time since the model doesn't have auto headlight option? I hate the warning noise every time I leave my car. But if i turn the headlight off manually, I'll forget to turn the headlight next time on all the time.

Hey man, just subscribed and went through some of your tc videos… this is random but I just installed the CNT S-pipe today because I bought it years ago and the stock one finally rotted. Did you ever have a problem with that gasket/fitment from the S-pipe to the cat-back? Installing it today it just seemed like not a great match up with the missing donut gasket piece. Was really hoping to hear how you’ve made out with that set up over the years or if you ever found a better gasket for those two pipes! Hope to hear back!!! -Steve

You talking about the platform: I am under the impresion the Avalon V6 (2GR-FE) in the Scion engine bay. By the time you buy all the parts that support a turbo and the turbo in itself you might as well swap in more displacement. It's about 100 pounds heavier, i doubt that would be too extreme if a weight difference, not sure if the transmission would handle it, but I suspect it would. Then swap alone is about a 100hp difference, us whatever else you do to it from there.

People were so unbelievably rude to me, when I bought mine. Much love for Scions, great little cars, reliable, not fast, but great little commuter cars.

I've always felt like this was a missed opportunity for the tuner community. The car looks fantastic in its final model. And it's got a 2.5L 4cyl in it. It's naturally aspirated to ~180hp which is right behind the FRS of that same year. I owned a 2014 back when they were new and never understood why there wasn't a push for tuning these phenomenal looking cars.
