I’m confused I thought that the insert had to go in and out? When the baby pees for example, do you have to wash the entire nappy ?

To be honest I’ve been considering whether I really want to use cloth nappies and whether they’re really as cost effective because you’re doing laundry perhaps every other day on the longest cycle and with the heaviest amount of detergent. It’s a great option for baby’s skin + more sustainability but for cost I’m now considering non toxic disposables

My baby keeps leaking out the legs at night. It’s not every night but most nights. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Great video, Thanks. But I do wonder how far apart you have placed the snaps, particularly those on the vertical rise. How far below the horizontal waist have you placed the first one, and how what length have you left between those three rows?

With that fleece lining on the middle of the cover, can you reuse the cover (with fresh inserts) like you can with other Ai2s or a flats & covers system?
@TheNappyGurus
@TheNappyGurus Жыл бұрын
Many people do use them that way yes, but if the inserts are very saturated it may not be so appealing to do that if the fleece has become damp. It's really personal preference :)

I wouldn't personally recommend using teas or fragrant soaps if the wipes will be coming in contact with a baby's vulva or vaginal canal, as it could offset the ph values of the vaginal canal and lead to yeast infection

@TheNappyGurus

If one side feels like a fleece material, that will be the one that goes next to the skin :)

4 months baby use the smaller feature ?
@TheNappyGurus
@TheNappyGurus Жыл бұрын
You should be able to recognise when you need to go up a size by the way the nappy is fitting and functioning and yes at 4 months that will likely still be on the smallest setting. You'll likely expect to go to the next size up from the smallest setting at around 5-6 months, depending on the size of your baby of course :)

Cloth nappies have really come a long way. When investigating cloth nappies I was expecting the white squares that you had to fold and secure with a pin. So happy to see a lot more options now days.

What are ur nappies made of ❤🧡🙈😊🤔
@TheNappyGurus
@TheNappyGurus 2 жыл бұрын
These nappies have an outer layer of a waterproof and breathable PUL (Polyutherane Laminate). The inner of the nappy is a super soft microfleece for a stay dry feel. The absorbent inserts are made up of two outer layers of bamboo and 2 inner layers of polyester. Hope that helps!

Do you put both inserts in at the same time?
@spelakastelic1196

The general guideline is that at the beginning, when babies don't pee as much, you use only one insert. When they start producing more pee, you can put in two or more inserts.

Can I leave the same nappy on all night or do I have to change my baby? She doesn’t poo in the night any more

Yes, in that case that is absolutely fine. You'll just need to ensure you have enough absorbent layers to hold the wee through the night :)
