Many things could have cause the compressor to fail. Poor maintenance is the primary reason. Notice the old trash and oil deposits. When a company finds your compressor has failed on a heat pump as whats in the video. If they don't recommend a new accumulator then send them packing. They're not a real service company, they are just parts changers. And to the guy in the video throw that pos you have in your hands away and get a real meter. You dont need that to check and see if a compressor is grounded...

No. Even if it were oversized, it would trip when the compressor has internal ground, as seen in the video. Oversized breakers burn houses down, burn up wires ect. No evidence of that in video.

Copper gas lines are no longer allowed because they can corrode from the side ingredients used to make gas.
