Need to look at different positions for the dcdc charger as in most cases once mounted you can't see the dcdc lights and anderson plugs on both sides of the box when mounted would be more versatile for mounting also dcdc needs an automatic from car to solar change over when ignition is of and be able to move the lcd screen to the sides of the box when mounted

With the charger and the solar priority part of it. Can it be setup to automatically switch to solar after you turn the car off or do you have to constantly hit the button to switch it over?

if you found an auto sparky clever enough i reckon that'd be very doable

Can you tell me roughly how long this would power a 60ltr Engel fridge for.? Thankyou very much looks like a great product.
@itechworld12 ай бұрын
Hi, that is depending on the draw of the Engel. If it averages 1 amp per hour this unit can run it for 4 days 🙂 However, this unit has been discontinued but we do have a new version, the PS1300.

Does the expansion battery have its own mppt?
@itechworld14 ай бұрын
Hi, yes it does 😄
@gureno194 ай бұрын
Hey Mate, consider upgrading to a decent hydraulic crimper for lugs like this, they are cheap these days and readily available on eBay. It will vastly improve your connections, which in a 4wd is critical, especially in Australia with corrugated roads etc. another recommendation would be to always use heat shrink, it's cheap and it's easy to apply with even a cigarette lighter and again just improves the integrity of your connections. Cheers

I’ve got a Hilux rogue, would love to know what fridge/freezer he has sitting flush in the tub
@AndrewKings47 ай бұрын
Neat install however there is so much wasted space, Why not instead use 2x slimline lithium batteries behind the rear seats of the vehicle and run a power cable into the canopy that way? Saving space and much better weight distribution. And upsize to account for all the space above the fridge by using an upright 110L fridge? Could roof mount a microwave with that 2000w inverter and/or a 12v oven to expand your cooking options? Good video still!
