I was at that game as a six year old! OU missed an easy field goal at the end. Fabulous end to a magical season for SMU.

Now you all can see what a difference crack cocaine made to our black brothers' lives. Drugs ruined EVERYTHING. Why do you think China is flooding the USA with fentanyl....

This is crazzzzzzzyyyy!! This happened in the 1970s???! That wasn’t that long ago! There are grandmothers alive today that were children in the 70s. Very scary how it wasn’t that long ago

That was a lot of points for just one half. But despite the high score, it looked physical out there, unlike todays game.

I only just learned about this through a book I got as a gift, about some of the moments in Cleveland's history. Though the chapter was focused more on Ten Cent Beer Night, they mentioned this game leading up to it. Two games, a week apart, and LOTS of chaos!

I remember in December 1977, the tolls on I-30 were done away with and for a while it was fun to drive full speed (55 mph) through the booths.🛂🚦 Then they were removed.🛣🏁

This is so intriguing seeing the start of desegregation, and how little the students care about it. Especially when these clips look just like the schools I grew up going to. School is school. Thank you to these kids for being the start for a wonderfully diverse school system.

rap in its form today killed black success right behind lyndon b johnsons destructive welfare program. Litterly designed to keep black people poor and away from wealthy folks.

I watch these videos and search Dallas videos of old in hopes to see my grandmother. She died before I could meet her. She lived in Oak Cliff in the 70s. I just want to see her living and breathing. If anyone has video of the 1976 moonshiner bowling league , please post.

I don’t understand why white people were so scared of black people like their ancestors and current family members/friends at the time weren’t a threat to black folk? There were pictures in my textbooks of black people hanging from trees. That to me is one of the scariest things.
