Was that filmed yesterday? I was climbing the hill up to castlecriag quarry when it was munovering out. Surprised how nimble it was. Also surprised it needed a pilot just to turn round. Pilot was off before it left the bay.
@TheMarcosparco5 күн бұрын
yes it was taken from ferry and I do not know why they need a pilot for such a short distance probably money has something to do with it

No, I didn't as moved out of Caithness a few years ago now. But i saw his video of the journey on KZbin. He even spotted the old abandoned 1960s Claas sat on a farm north of Brora. It has been lying abandoned for over 20 years. I don't know what condition it is in, but sitting in the open air for years and not far from the sea it can't be good 😢😢

I used to live near to the road from John o Groats a few years ago and saw many weird sights as people headed towards Wick on the A99 as they headed south on the start of their marathon journeys to Lands End. The tractor runs were always the best for me. But sadly I have moved and don't get to see these attempts now.

Great footage. They went over to my house in Dornoch at or below 1000, seen through the trees. The first flights of the day were under an overcast to the north. Seemed clearer to the south. The NOTAM said they could be pretty low. Well done.

I wasn't aware of how these tanks were used until recently. Presume Nigg has a long stream of work lined up for all the development being done to the site. My last visit in early September the site was rather empty.

We swam out & climbed the ladder onto the ship when we were there… I remember we explored it for a while… the deck was metal & RED HOT on our bare feet… totally unprepared! Was good tho, we dived off the side back into the sea and it was WAAYYY higher than it looks 😮 Swam back to shore and slept for two hours recovering. Good times in Goa 🇮🇳

fast enough to move whether that's max speed lr11350 ?
@user-on7uk8rj7k5 ай бұрын
yes, it's very fast, but it seems like the standard speed of all LR series cranes from 1500 to 13000 is very slow. the 1600 has a second speed very fast, then its running motors start to hum loudly
