Why do you have picture lights above the cabinet? Whats on display, the cabinet doors? Really out of place and distracts you from all of the other nice aesthetics.

The funny thing is most people turn around and paint these doors. Fn idiots. I build doors for a living so I know how beautiful a mahogany door stained can be. But people buy these doors and demolish them. It's sad.

Unfortunately, I don’t have shots with the doors open. However, if you can imagine what the inside of a regular cabinet looks like, this is what it will look like. The soffit is just a 1x12 attached to the top of the already existing cabinets. Then we painted all to match

Did you sand before staining? What grit sandpaper did you use?

Yes, we sanded with 200 grit, 400 stained, sanded with 600 then coat of poly
