I like the circular one from the center out. I wish you'd show the tutorial on that one

So glad I found this video! I just started. I cranked out a really good Paradox on my first day but can't get the hang of Flux 😅 Thank you for the many different ways I can use it.

I am still exploring the different tangles and I still don't know the names of the different ones. This Huggins is one that I started out with only as a tri-huggins and it worked out great. Once more i tried a grid one just to see if i could stand the sameness of the pattern and do it well. Now i am ready to spread out and try some wonky, spreading, wandering and anything else huggins. You gave us some great ideas. Thank you!

Love a messy zentangle!!! Do you have a recommendation for a book? There are enough bad reviews on every book on Amazon that I don’t know how to choose. Thank you in advance for any advice!
@WhimsybyKelly2 жыл бұрын
I don’t make a ton of book recommendations, I always suggest a class with a CZT, but if you are looking for one I personally like, I would suggest Pattern Play by Sonya Yencer and Cris LeTourneau. :)

Most of the original/traditional zentangle patterns do not appeal to my aesthetic. I mean - I appreciate the work - but I do not wish to add it to my watercolor paintings. However, the variations I find myself liking a lot more!! The square you did on the black paper is the style I like. Now I have to go check out your website to see what other variations you might have created! Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE the angular gourd!!! I tend to be drawn to wonky ‘organic’ irregular lines, shapes! That is hard to find with zentangle…everything is always so perfect.

This is a good video and your work is great. You just need to be more mindful of the position of the camera. It seemed that you became more interested in what you were doing (which is fine if you weren’t doing a demonstration) than considering your audience.

I was still fairly new to filming and they were originally meant for my regular students who have a base in my teaching style. I wanted them to have something casual and informal when we couldn’t meet in person. I’ve gotten better with my camera angles since Thanks for checking me out!

I think you mean the graphic pen? It’s a micron graphic pen size 1. You can get them at just about any art store or amazon.
