I used mp3 players starting from 128mb Samsung yepp and finished with a fancy walkman with a 1tb micro SD card. Before that I used a compact cassette player. After all of the years I can certainly say that a best player is an android smartphone with a type c dongle. We can now finally admit that an mp3 player is dead and obsolete.

It is not pro, just RP5, and yeah, it is great. Hardware is excellent, the screen is amazing, but it is not made for big hands. Ergonomics could be better. Anbernic RG556 is much better in this regard.

PS: Feature phones are sturdy and small enough to fit into all pockets, and small flip phones are cool in a way that no normal smartphone can be. They remind me of Star Trek communicators. As a result, I am not just losing features by using a feature flip phone, but also get advantages for it. And I can trick myself into believing that it's worth it even apart from the attention management problem. (Which of course it isn't.)
