Es muy bonito el himno y emotivo. También debo decir que el de Ecuador está considerado uno d los mejores en música y su letra es un poema aunque solo se canta el coro y una sola estrofa pero tiene algunas q son un verdadero poema épico. No lo digo solo yo sino gente experta en música y poesía.

Best: Szell, Blomstedt, the two Kleibers, and, to my great surprise, Harnoncourt. Worst: Several were horrible, but Norrington made in cringe in embarrassment for his players.

Blomstedt stumbled out of the gate, but his rhythms were as clean and crisp as a small ensemble’s. Norrington sounds two-dimensional. I saw some string players sneaking a minivibrato here or there. Klemperer and Furtwängler played at Moderato con brio, and Giulini played at Andante con brio. Celibidache played at Largo sin brio. Savall and Gardiner think Eroica is in D major. Must be a HIP thing. Best: Blomstedt, Klemperer, Zinman; worst: Norrington, Celibidache, Gardiner

As usually, the truth lies in the middle! We have some extremely fast and some extremely slow performances, which in my "book" have failed. Amongst the best for my taste are, Seiji Ozawa, Herbert for Karayan, Claudio Abbaddo, and of course Arturo Toscanini whose tempos were widely accepted by most conductors, deservedly so. Of course these are not the only good perofrmances I heard. But I cannot mention all.
