yes, he is, .... do stilll have the other youtube channel ? i cant seem to find it anymore ? Was wandering what's your Om guitar ? what do you think for your style strum/picking compared to your mahogany dreadnought ? any thoughts on Martin ? i seem to find them muscular and bright but then i have problems with bright harsh frequencies
@idlehourstudio10 жыл бұрын
Here is the other channel but there isn't much on it now kzbin.infovideos My OM was also an Atkin like my Mahogany Dread... they were made by my friend Alister Atkin from Canterbury - well worth looking into and talking over with Alister if you are after something personal. I've always liked the Martin OM 28v but I prefer the Atkin guitars to any Martin I've played. My OM was great for that style, well balanced and plenty of volume. I wish I had both :)

@idlehourstudio11 жыл бұрын
It should be the first thing that comes up when you open my channel, if not try the facebook page facebook.com/jonwoodemusic The song was supposed to be like thoughts in the mind of a soldier in the middle of the horrors of the trenches. It works best through earphones.

Makes me so angry the way they treated them in WW1. All that constant shelling and living in muddy trenches, how could anybody be expected to remain compis mentis in those conditions?

A pardon is a piece of paper. Bullets splash flesh and shatter bone. The paper might give meager comfort to family pride, but does not feed the family in need, or stop a widow's or mother's tears. -Cheers! -T

I too am very proud of our Anzacs and the average Tommie, and all of the Allies that fought in WW1, but we were not fighting pure evil, the German soldier in WW1 actually had right on their side. Both sides could have prevented WW1. What was evil about this war, other than war itself, was the fact that both sides wasted a generation of their young men. I lost 6 great uncles in WW1 and I am sorry to say that their sacrifice, as for your relations, was for nothing and that saddens me greatly
@COLEEN32212 жыл бұрын
im english and very proud of what the anzac,s did for our country especially at gallipoli,eventually it wasnt a matter of blame but a sense of stubborn patriotism,we were fighting the good fight against something pure evil and someone had to check there advance at a time of great uncertainty,hats off to the old sweats,the BEF,who in a matter of months failed to exist,some 60000 strong,as you can tell im patriotic and shall remain so,rip my great uncles who died on the somme,god bless.
