Took me a month to read that book and I still wasn't able to get her into...nevermind.

❤❤❤ it’s been a long time since I’ve watched Anne of Green Gables. But when I heard you say “bosom friend” ah, my heart. I did love her once. I think my favorite that stayed with me was Anne floating down the river like lady shallott. I always did love her interactions with Gilbert.

Who knew that Katsuji Mori, the voice of Speed Racer , did the voice of Arthur O'Connor, in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer? (『マッハGoGoGo (1967年)』の三船剛の声を担当している森功至が、『トム・ソーヤーの冒険』のアーサー・オコーナーの声を担当していることを誰が知っているだろうか?)

This scene was soooo hilarious but also reminded me so much of growing up and making up all kinds of things to do with your friends when no phones or iPads were around. Megan Follows was the absolute perfect cast for Anne! That is why I always rewatch this series! When I’m feeling down, I put this on! 😭😭❤️❤️

I believe this movie accurately characterizes what would have become of Huck and Tom. No inhibitions, confident, creative...this is a great story by itself.

14:08 Since this new story is like an epilogue to the tom and huck novel, which is set in the late 1800s or 19th century , the background (town environment) setting depiction of this era in the movie seems unfitting or less authentic to be considered an adaptation of a 19th century era since it seems more like a mid 20th century timeline.
