Just spent an hour or so studying this and numbering each pattern piece in order of assembly so that I can be extra prepared when I finally cut up the pattern on the eva foam 🤞I will pull this off for sure 1st try let's gooo

I actually used your finger armor tutorial for my 3D printed jointed hand. I agree that foam is much easier and has the benefit of flexibility. I think 3D printing probably shines through in durability. It's much harder to work with but if you're planning to wear something multiple times or harshly, I think printing is a good choice

Hey Lorentz! Quick question. I just finished this up for my Zack Fair cosplay. I’ve got the magnet in the housing unit, but was wondering what you put in your buster sword for it to magnetize to? It looks like the backside facing the sword is 1.5 inch diameter. I think for it to hold while wearing I need direct contact with the magnet. Any suggestions? Tried using a mason jar top, but the metal in it wasn’t quite thick enough to hold the sword lol
