Not sure why u cleared the weed :) it will grow back. It only makes sense to clear if you are going to do something in that space. Talking directly to the company will drop the price lower than costco price. Try to shop around with the quote from costco. Electricity rates r falling in alberta, afaik solar panels do not make $$ sense.

It may or may not recover. Unfortunate timing. Removing it is painful(to get rid of the sod). But once removed, you can try seeding instead of sod. No point in cleaning weed if you are not doing anything there. It will grow back.
